OPINION: Mrs Petra Onyegbule That I know ( Ibrahim Abubakar)

First and foremost, as a progressive youth leader in Kogi State and Nigeria by extension, I am highly committed to the promotion, advancement and celebration of any personality that has distinguished themselves from
others just like our own iron lady Mrs Petra, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to our amiable, capable, energetic, dynamic, working and dependable Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello.

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter”. — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I have come to understand that there's no other option than to celebrate this worthy lady of substance and amazon that since her assumption in office as the CPS has put things in the right direction as if Kogi State is the only state in Nigeria where things are happenings positively both in the print, electronic and online media.

As an aspiring politician, I understand perfectly that Alh. Yahaya Bello's led Government in Kogi State has impacted positively more than enough on the lives of Kogites. These achievements are with the supports of Mrs Petra, one of the key media strategist of the government of the day. She thinks outside the box and has uncommon expertise on how to promote Kogi State to the world which has never happened in the recent past.

There's no doubt that the appointment of Mrs Petra Onyegbule as the Chief Press Secretary is one of the best things that has happened to Kogi State based on the fact that she's vibrant, articulate, intelligent and remain an understanding personality among the appointees of Governor Yahaya Bello. For this singular act of appointing Mrs Petra, we would continue to support our Governor until he's tired of holding public office in Nigeria.

Beyond sentiment, as it stands Mrs Petra is a grass root mobilizer based on the structure of the young people she has put on ground as if for a decade she has being in the politics of Kogi State. To me as a person, she's a silent achiever and I'm sure Governor Bello will never regret working with her.

It is a known fact that there's no human being on earth that's perfect therefore, Alh. Yahaya Bello is not perfect. He has shown in the recent time that he believes in the life of an ordinary person on the street of Kogi State, now we are convinced that our Governor deserves our supports and solidarity more than before for bringing the best brain to his administration.

We have realized that those that have no vision seek to shadow our vision as we move Kogi State to the promise land with Alh. Bello as the pilot while Mrs Petra Onyegbule and others as the cabin crew. If there is any other person I envy so much in this government, then that's Mrs Petra Onyegbule based on her oratory and intellectual prowess. These and many other things can not be taken away from this lady of substance.

Therefore, without sounding immodest, I want to state without fear or favour that Mrs Petra Onyegbule and her colleagues in the media are excellent and veteran media personalities, a very passionate, committed and hardworking woman.

This is the Mrs Petra Onyegbule that as a young person, I celebrate every day and night and pray to become like her when I grow up.
