It was an emotional laden and charged environment on Friday 27th of May, 2016, when students and staff of Government Girls Model Secondary School Ogbonicha
paid tribute to their patron, Late Prince Abubakar Audu in his country home at Ogbonicha. They all matched to the house of the late political sage in songs and upon arrival, they sang the National Anthem, school Anthem and then offered Christian and Muslim prayers at his grave side
They later proceeded to the Palace of Oregon Attah of Igala land, paramount ruler of Ogbonicha Kingdom, HRH.ALHAJI TIJANI AUDU who received them to his palace, advising the students to lead a focused and sincere life, abstaining from all vices in the environment.
