GOVERNMENT Ekpemupolo, 45 year old Niger-Delta born fugitive and one of the founders of Movement for Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) has been enmeshed in several dirty-arms deal in Libya for years and his recent escape to the stronghold of one of the hideouts of Libyan Jihadists in Benghazi brought his nefarious activities to the fore. Undercover investigation has fully revealed United Kingdom to have supplied arms to the tune of £15Million to Libya, most of which are now in hands of terror and Jihadists groups.

Having escaped to Libya from Niger Republic by road after he received intelligence reports from Niger Delta militants irked by the continued onslaught of Nigerian Army against Tompolo to bring him to justice over the various fraudulent activities that led to his stealing of N35.1billion in a contract scam with Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), he was in Tripoli. But after 72 hours hiding in Tripoli, Tompolo was directed to leave Tripoli immediately by some militants in Ansar al-Shariah Brigade, a jihadist group otherwise called Ansar al-Sharia in Libya (ASL) or Katibat Ansar al-Sharia based in Benghazi, since his hideouts in Tripoli had become public knowledge.

Tompolo under the cover of darkness, fully guarded by armed ASL Jihadists was led to Benghazi where he is currently being heavily shielded and protected away from any arrest or extradition to Nigeria. In every town and community in Benghazi, you will see fierce, gun-wearing men, youths frisking every passers-by. Tamuno Kigobi, a former militant and an insider in MEND told this correspondent that Tompolo was about to be busted in Tripoli after he escaped from Nigeria.

In the words of Tamuno: “Tompolo is fishing in troubled waters. Since he arrived Tripoli he has not had peace of mind. He has been having countless nightmares due to the fact all his movement is being tracked, and security agencies are gradually closing up on him. That was why Ansar al-Sharia in Libya (ASL), a Jihadist annexe in Tripoli earlier guarding Tompolo told him to relocate quickly to Benghazi. For years, he had been the arrowheads of MEND dealing in arms importation into Nigeria from Libya.”

How Niger Delta Avengers Acquire Bomb, Explosives, Fighter Jets, Grenades
This correspondent gathered exclusively in Tripoli, that embattled Tompolo had long ago been the contact point of sophisticated arms, bombs, explosives, fighter jets and grenades importation into Africa’s most populous nation from Libya. There is no Niger Delta militant group today operating in the oil rich region that did not purchase their ammunition from Tompolo. This position was corroborated by Tamuno who explained that “In the supply of guerrilla warfare ammunition, Tompolo is known as the don who dines and wines with ASL Jihadists in Libya. I can tell you that ASL is the major group in Libya many of the militants in Niger Delta are in the know that supply ammunition to Tompolo, who in turn re-sell those arms to other militant groups in Niger Delta under different names.”

Plans by Niger Delta Avengers to Crumble Nigeria’s Oil Wealth Revealed
Due to the hot chase placed on Tompolo by Nigeria’s security agencies before he fled Nigeria to Libya, and the hot pursuit of Niger Delta Avengers in the creeks of the oil-rich region, Tamuno said that latest plan on the threshold of these militants is to continually blow up all Nigeria’s oil pipelines in N Niger-Delta to crumble the economic strength of the nation. “Tompolo had given marching orders to Niger Delta Avengers before he escaped from the country to keep blowing up all oil pipelines in Niger Delta till Nigeria’s Government reach out to him an olive tree and offer him amnesty for safe return to the country,” added Tamuno discreetly.

INTERPOL Begins Secret Manhunt for Tompolo inside Hideout in Benghazi
Tompolo seems to be more into trouble as International Police Headquarters (INTERPOL) located in their General Secretariat, 200, quai Charles de Gaulle, 69006 Lyon in France may have been contacted by Nigerian Police Force hierarchy in Abuja to have Tompolo arrested, extradited to face prosecution in Nigeria. This is one of the reasons ASL, a Jihadist Group in Benghazi insisted in relocating Tompolo from Tripoli to Benghazi fortress.

This correspondent gathered scores of INTERPOL officials are presently combing every where in Tripoli presently as undercover agents in search of Tompolo, and there are plans to extend the search to Benghazi with time.

Britain £15Million Arms Sale to LibyaMeanwhile this correspondent has come across shocking details of how United Kingdom government has supplied Fifteen Million Pounds of raw ammunition ranging from Bomb Components, Explosives, Fighter Jets, Grenades, Armoured cars, ammo and grenades to Libya. The report revealed that 90% of these arms have fallen into the hands of various terror groups in North Africa, including Niger Delta Avengers in Nigeria.

The report stated that UK’s biggest trade is with Saudi Arabia, which spent £3.9billion on arms during the Tory-led government between 2010 and 2015. In that cache are fighter jets, bomb components, explosives, armoured cars, ammo and grenades. Britain’s soaring arms deals in the region include £15million in sales over the past five years to embattled Libya, large parts of which are already controlled by the vicious terror group (including militants group in Nigeria). Fighter jets, assault rifles, bombs, bullets and night-vision goggles are being sold to despots and dictators at an increasing rate.

Britain’s annual £8.5billion weapons exports include bomb-making equipment sold to Libya that could fall into the hands of ISIS. There are fears the terror network could overrun the North African nation. As at today, Algeria’s £278million worth of weaponry from the UK includes night sights for snipers and components for guns.
